More From Janet

Taking some time off her tour with the Indigo Girls, Janet Napolitano was recently confronted during an interview about her “parity” statements regarding the Mexican and Canadian borders. Several weeks ago, I had posted some statements she made regarding her desire to treat both borders with the same scrutiny. She felt is it would be unfair to crack down harshly on Mexico’s border without implementing the same techniques on our border with Canada.

She attempted to justify these ridiculous statements during an interview with CBS on Monday night. She said cracking down on Canada’s border will help prevent another 9/11, since the terrorists had entered our country via Canada’s border. Unfortunately, her attempt to justify her quest for “parity” fell flat, since the 9/11 hijackers came to America from overseas…..the idea that they came through Canada was a myth and was proven false.

When confronted with these facts, which continue to demonstrate her irrelevance as Homeland Security Advisor, Janet responded with, "I can't talk to that. I can talk about the future. And here's the future. The future is we have borders."

Huh??

Instead of worrying about hurt feelings, Janet, why don’t you focus your efforts on our Southern border, where drug cartel violence and illegal immigrants are spilling over daily? I’d prefer our policies were enacted through logic and reality, rather than idealism and fairness. I’m guessing these misguided attempts at fairness are part of the reason we have this hack acting as our Homeland Security Advisor!

I’m even willing to risk another Dave Coulier sneaking across our Northern border….Cut…it…out!!
