Forced Charm

"That's my man right here. Love this guy. He's the most popular politician on earth. It's because of his good looks." - Obama referring to Brazilian President Luis de Silva at the G-20 Summit.

First of all, this is the guy that just claimed the International banking crisis on "was fostered and boosted by irrational behavior of people that are white, blue-eyed, that before the crisis looked like they knew everything about economics."

Secondly, Obama’s phony charm is the only way he can get away with an insult like this. It’s an insult, because Pres. Luis de Silva is an ugly little troll, and addressing his “good looks” reeks of sarcasm. And he is hardly the most popular politician on Earth!

As long as it is said in his playful and exaggerated urban drawl, everyone should think it’s cute, huh?

Now, the reason I bring this up is because this is a truly unprofessional way to treat a world leader. No different than Bush giving Merkel’s shoulders a rub. I have no problem with Obama insulting this guy, but I would prefer he actually address his racist remarks with logic, rather than using his lame and nonsensical sense of humor
.
