“The McCain campaign would much rather have the story about phony and foolish diversions than about the future. . . . We have real problems in this country right now and the American people are looking to us for answers, not distractions, not diversions, not manipulations.” – Barack Obama
Rush Limbaugh is someone I have always enjoyed listening to. He is humorous, glib, and well informed of the issues, whether or not you agree with his filtering….his arrogance, at times, reminds me of our current president, except for the fact that Rush makes no apologies and acknowledges that he can be a pompous loudmouth!
His speech at the CPAC conference on Saturday night certainly riled up the Conservative base and took a direct aim at Obama and his policies. His most controversial statement as of late has been his admission that “he wants Obama to fail”. Yes, this sounds harsh when taken out of context; however, he has explained that he is hoping Obama’s policies fail….and I personally do not disagree. Some have said that hoping for Obama’s policies to fail is the same as hoping our country fails…. This is not true. Many would contend the only way to maintain our great country is for Obama’s agenda to stumble.
But this is not the point…the point is that Obama’s henchman, Rahm Emmanuel, has been doing his best to make Americans believe Rush Limbaugh is the “head of the Republican Party”. This has been part of the Democratic talking points for some time now. In fact, an investigative piece came out yesterday that told of a strategy which was laid out amongst Obama’s operatives to prop up Rush as the Republican leader. Why would they do this?? Because, last fall, Rahm’s buddy conducted a poll that determined Rush Limbaugh was viewed as “offensive” by most Americans. Obama’s operatives are hoping to associate the entertainer with the Republicans in order to cast a shadow over the entire party. This is a concerted effort to falsely associate the ENTIRE Republican Party with the loose comments of an entertainer. If Rush hopes Obama fails, then gosh, ALL Republican politicians must feel this way. Brilliant? Yes. Manipulative , Pathetic, and Dishonest? Yes.
These actions certainly fly in the face of a “new era of politics”, which was Obama’s theme during the campaign. In fact, Obama should be ashamed of himself for allowing this type of Junior High manipulation to be on the forefront of the news cycle. However, I have learned more and more that Obama has no shame and will lie to the American public with ease.
A petty diversion to distract from a questionable start to Obama’s presidency. Does anyone remember Bush even mentioning Michael Moore's name? This truly is a new type of presidency where media figures are personally attacked by the president. It diminishes the office of the presidency and opens up a war between government and media. Frightening, considering Obama just appointed his old college pal to head the FCC.
Oh…..and in case you didn’t know, “Rahmbo” was raised as a ballerina. For real!

The look on the little girl's face in the background is priceless. Even a ten year old can tell this guy is a dumbshit.
The little kid in the Michigan hat above looks like a little Japanese cartoon character

Of course Rush hates Obama's new plan, under it he would have to give up the pool house and and guest house:

This blog is really redundant.

How exactly is that house tacky?
How miserable, bitter, and jealous do you have to be that you would describe a mansion on the beach in Florida as tacky. Maybe if it was painted neon orange and had a thousand plastic pink flamingos in the front yard, then you could say it was tacky.
First of all, who is Lettuce? Your comments suck! Why dont you try contributing a thought. My comment: Screw the Republican party too! Rush is just another mouth piece, when are you going to learn both parties want bigger government!
