"For me, I just realized as these issues started to come at us, and they started to crystallize, that it really wasn't a good fit. And that I wouldn't be comfortable doing this and that it wouldn't be fair to be part of a team and not be able to be 100 percent on the team" Sen. Judd Gregg
Yesterday we witnessed the 4th nominee to resign from his or her post in Obama’s administration. However, this was not due to corruption or tax evasion, which was the case for the other “brilliant” appointees.
No, this was Republican Sen. Gregg, whom Obama named as our Commerce Secretary. This position had recently become vacant after Gov. Richardson resigned in the wake of a pay-to-play scandal. Way to clean house, Barry!
There are several factors that led to Sen. Gregg’s resignation yesterday, but the most compelling reason would be Obama’s decision to transfer control of the U.S. Census from the hands of the Commerce Secretary (Sen. Gregg), and into the hands of the White House.
Why would this be a concern, you ask? Because the results of the U.S. Census are used to reshape voting districts. So, in essence, Obama will have ultimate control over how new voting districts are shaped and redrawn for the next Congressional election. This is unprecedented and undoubtedly lowers a veil of suspicion over Obama’s motives.
Not only has this recent resignation added more egg to the face of Obama, it will call into attention his potential scheme to manipulate the results of our next Congressional election.
More “Change” to come………
